The Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Sammy Awuku, says the government's flagship programmes have failed to create meaningful jobs for young people or improve their standard of living.

Speaking during the debate on the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review, he argued that the government's inventory of activities does not provide concrete measures to transform the lives of Ghana's youth.

According to Sammy Awuku, the mid-year review offers little hope for young Ghanaians seeking employment and better economic opportunities.
