Emmy Rossum discusses her nuanced character in new Hulu thriller-drama “Furious”

Golden Globe-nominated actress Emmy Rossum joins Morning Joe to discuss her new thriller-drama serious “Furious,” now streaming on Hulu. Rossum, who also produced the show, stars as Alice Black, a former NYPD homicide detective dealing with the aftermath of an abusive relationship and now working at the FBI to find a serial killer. Rossum tells Morning Joe the project was born from her quest to find a character “as deep and nuanced” as Fiona Gallagher, who she played in the Showtime series “Shameless.”
