Ghana's cities are growing, but so are the challenges

"Ghana's urbanisation has created opportunities for economic growth, innovation, trade and jobs. But it has also brought housing deficits, infrastructure gaps, traffic congestion, flooding, environmental degradation and the growth of informal settlements."

Chief Director of the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Alhaji Amin Abdul Rahman, says these challenges require urgent and sustained action.
