Chinese, US teens bond through football at NFL FLAG Championships
The 3rd NFL FLAG Championships concluded in Westfield, Indiana, bringing together young athletes from around the world for the competition, cultural exchange, and friendship. Representing China, the Shanghai Wolves competed in the International Divisions U15 Coed bracket.
Following the tournament on July 26, the Chinese team played friendly matches against regional champion teams from Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Las Vegas. After the games, young athletes from both sides exchanged jerseys and gifts and posed for group photos.
Despite differences in language and culture, flag football proved to transcend barriers for youth, helping build lasting friendships between Chinese and American teenagers.
