Meet Xiaoshu, a red kangaroo joey who was just 600 grams when she fell from her mother's pouch and almost faced certain death because she was far too young to survive on her own.

Here's the incredible journey, from a handmade pouch to her very first hops, that has brought Xiaoshu back to the kangaroo family thanks to the patience and dedication of her keepers at Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo.
