‘We’ve heard this before’: Skepticism grows over U.S.-Iran talks progress

Mediators across the middle east are expressing optimism about renewed diplomatic efforts between the U.S. and Iran to end the war. President Trump told reporters yesterday that Iran asked for the attacks to stop and wanted more discussions. Iran's foreign ministry spokesman later denied that Iran had offered to negotiate in return for a pause in U.S. strikes.
