Israeli strikes injure Palestinians in Gaza as attacks continue despite ceasefire
In Gaza, an Israeli air strike hit an area in Deir el-Balah, injuring several Palestinians, including a man on a wheelchair who had already lost his legs in a previous injury during the war. The attack targeted a group of people very close to an UNRWA school where thousands of Palestinians are sheltering. Another strike on Sunday targeted the vehicle of a senior Palestinian security officer in Deir el-Balah, while Israeli attacks also targeted a residential building east of Gaza City. According to doctors, it is very hard to save lives and treat the injured due to Israeli restrictions on medical supplies and medications, amid the collapse of the health system in Gaza. Since the ceasefire, at least 1,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,000 injured, with people saying this is not a real ceasefire as they are still being killed, injured, and left homeless.
