ICU-Ghana Protests Alleged VALCO Sale, Demands Immediate Halt

The Industrial and Commercial Workers' Union (ICU)-Ghana is calling on President John Dramani Mahama to immediately halt any proposed sale of the Volta Aluminium Company (VALCO).
The union says its concerns are centred on job security and the future of workers at the company.
The call was made during a protest against what the union describes as an alleged move to sell VALCO, with members urging government to protect the strategic state-owned company and safeguard employment.
