Tensions within the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have escalated following the arrest of the party's Zongo Ward Branch Organiser, Awudu Gewah.
His arrest comes just days after party members staged a protest against the swearing-in of an acting constituency chairman following the suspension of the substantive chairman.
The latest development has heightened tensions within the constituency as the internal leadership dispute continues to unfold.
