KNUST Researchers Call for Technology-Driven Investment to Save Ghana’s Cocoa Sector

Academics and researchers at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) are calling for deliberate investment in Ghana's cocoa sector to sustain the industry.

They say the investment must include technological innovation, research and modern approaches to attract more young people into cocoa production and related businesses.

The researchers believe strengthening the cocoa value chain is critical to protecting Ghana's position in the global cocoa industry while creating new opportunities for youth and entrepreneurs.
