‘I'm an Agent of My Own Conscience’: Activist SLAMS Government’s Foreign Agent Claims

The Trump administration says it has launched a "global campaign to crush radical left terrorism." Its first move: releasing a report alleging that left-wing activism in the U.S. is tied to a Cuban foreign influence campaign. The very next day, the GOP-led House Ways and Means Committee issued subpoenas to three left-leaning nonprofit organizations. One of those groups, New York-based The People's Forum, is pushing back. "These attacks, these attempts at repression are really just an attempt to cover their own failures and trying to turn back the tide of history," says Manolo De Los Santos, the Executive Director of The People's Forum.
