A manhunt is under way in the German capital after a car was driven into a crowd at a Berlin Pride event, police say.
The mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner, has called the incident, "an attack on our free and open-minded society".
Police in Berlin say one person is dead and 16 others are injured, with some sustaining life-threatening injuries.
