TVET Is Not for Weak Students — Bono Principals Urge Parents to Change Mindset

The Chairperson of the Conference of Principals of Technical Institutions in the Bono Region, Evelyn Konadu-Boaten, is urging parents to support children who wish to pursue Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes.

She says TVET provides students with practical skills that can create opportunities in employment, entrepreneurship and national development, stressing that technical education should not be seen as a pathway for only academically weak students.

The call comes amid efforts to promote skills-based education and encourage more young people to explore alternative career pathways.
