The Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, has reaffirmed government's commitment to promoting food safety and supporting initiatives aimed at improving standards in the food processing sector.
She urged food processors to prioritise proper manufacturing practices, hygiene standards and quality control measures to protect consumers and strengthen confidence in locally produced food.
The Minister's remarks highlight the need for collaboration between government and industry players to ensure safer food production across Ghana.
