A debate has emerged over Ghana's economic direction following the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review.

The Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Akwasi Konadu, says the government's focus on macroeconomic stability is coming at the expense of the livelihoods of ordinary Ghanaians.
