What makes up Jingdezhen's World Heritage Site?

UNESCO added China's Jingdezhen Handicraft Porcelain Industry Sites to the World Heritage List on July 25, 2026, following the decision at the 48th session of the World Heritage Committee in Busan, the Republic of Korea.

The newly inscribed property covers five parts, encompassing 15 groups of heritage elements and 45 individual heritage sites. Together, from porcelain clay mines and firewood production areas to workshops, kilns and transport routes, they preserve a complete handicraft porcelain production system that shaped ceramic traditions across the globe.
