Ghanaian swimmer Jackson has etched his name into the history books after setting a new national record in the event at the Tollcross Swimming Centre in Glasgow. He clocked an impressive 26.48 seconds, surpassing the previous national mark of 26.84 seconds held by Jason Arthur. Although he narrowly missed automatic qualification for the semi-finals, Jackson remains in contention as the second reserve should any qualified swimmers withdraw.
