Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has assured Ghanaian farmers that government is taking urgent steps to address the growing maize and rice glut across parts of the country. Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show, he announced that additional domestic resources are being mobilised to purchase surplus produce and stabilise the market, protecting farmers from losses caused by falling prices.
