The Assembly Member for the Sabon Zongo Electoral Area in the Asokore Mampong Municipality, Hussein Mohammed, is calling for intensified police patrols following two suspected killings recorded in the area within one week.
His appeal follows the discovery of the body of an unidentified man at Asawase A-Line, an incident that has heightened security concerns among residents.
The latest development comes after the alleged killing of Yussif Zakari at Sabon Zongo on Sunday, July 19, after he was reportedly beaten by unidentified assailants.
Speaking to Citi News, Hussein Mohammed urged the Ghana Police Service to increase patrols and strengthen visibility in the community to deter crime and reassure residents.
