NSA Saves Ghana GH¢900 Million After Removing 60,000 Ghost Names

The National Service Authority (NSA) says it has saved the country GH¢900 million after eliminating ghost names from its payroll.
Speaking to Channel One News, NSA Deputy Director-General Fuseini Donkor said the newly introduced national service enrolment system identified and removed more than 60,000 ghost names from the payroll.
He explained that the intervention forms part of efforts to improve accountability, strengthen payroll management and ensure public funds are used efficiently.
