Gilbert Adjei: Demolition of structures blocking waterways will be followed by continuous desilting.

Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, says the ongoing demolition of structures obstructing waterways will be followed by year-round desilting and dredging of drains and watercourses.

He says the exercise will be replicated in flood-prone communities across the country as part of a sustained effort to improve drainage systems and mitigate the impact of flooding.
