In the 2026 Budget presented last November, government announced two major interventions for Ghana's creative sector, a GH¢20 million Film Fund and a GH¢20 million Creative Arts Fund. Fast forward to the 2026 Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review, and while Parliament has been updated on funding for several flagship programmes, there appears to be no mention of these two funds.
