Ejisu Assembly Members Move to Pass Vote of No Confidence in MCE

Members of the Ejisu Municipal Assembly have initiated moves to pass a vote of no confidence in Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Jerryne Asante over alleged administrative lapses.
The Assembly members convened an emergency meeting to deliberate on the motion, but proceedings were stalled after the Assembly Hall was locked, with some key officials absent.
The Ghana Police Service was present at the premises to maintain calm as tensions surrounding the meeting continued.
