Police Seize Over 5,000 Parcels of Suspected Narcotics Hidden in Tipper Truck

Police have intercepted 5,039 compressed parcels of suspected narcotic drugs concealed in a tipper truck at Afienya in the Greater Accra Region.
The intelligence-led operation led to the arrest of two suspects, who have since been remanded, after investigators uncovered the consignment allegedly being transported to Ada.
Police say investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest other individuals connected to the suspected drug trafficking operation.
