Trump's latest tariff strategy puts global trade back on edge

U.S. President Trump is invoking Section 301 authority and forced-labor claims to reshape the legal basis for new tariff measures, pushing trade negotiations with North American partners and others back into high gear.

CGTN's Sean Callebs spoke with Vinicius Rodrigues Vieira, Associate Professor of Economics and International Relations at Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, about what the new tariff push means for the global economy.
