The Government of Ghana spent GH¢58 million on the Black Stars' participation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has disclosed.
Presenting the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review in Parliament, Dr. Forson said the amount was released as part of approved government expenditure to support Ghana's campaign at the tournament.
He added that the disclosure forms part of government's commitment to transparency and accountability in the management of public funds.
