Court Orders AG to Amend Charges Against Former NAFCO CEO Hanan Aludiba

The High Court has ordered the Attorney-General to amend two counts in the criminal case against former National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) Chief Executive Officer, Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba.

The court ruled that the charges did not adequately state the alleged false representations at the centre of the offence of defrauding by false pretences.

The judge, however, dismissed in full an application seeking to strike out the entire charge sheet, allowing the case to proceed with the amended charges.
