A severe rainstorm that hit the Yendi Municipality in the Northern Region at dawn on Wednesday has claimed the life of a 12-year-old girl, injured several others and destroyed more than 40 houses and properties.
The devastation has left several families homeless, forcing many affected residents to seek refuge with relatives and friends.
