The Municipal Chief Executive for Yendi, Sugri Muniru, has commended Channel One TV and Citi FM for initiating the Northern Business Fair, describing it as a transformative platform for showcasing the economic potential of Northern Ghana.
Speaking to Citi News, the Yendi MCE said the annual trade exhibition has become an important avenue for promoting local businesses, attracting investment and highlighting the region's untapped opportunities.
He noted that the fair has created a ready market for value-added products produced in Northern Ghana, helping indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs gain wider exposure, build networks and expand their operations.
Mr. Muniru added that the initiative is helping to change perceptions about Northern Ghana by highlighting the region's potential in agriculture, manufacturing, agribusiness, tourism and innovation.
He encouraged businesses across the five northern regions to take advantage of the platform to showcase their products and services, while urging investors to explore the economic opportunities available in the region.
