Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has criticised the 2026 Mid-Year Budget Review presented by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, describing the review as uninspiring.
Reacting after the budget presentation, Mr. Afenyo-Markin said the review offered no inspiration and accused the government of engaging in what he described as persecution.
He repeated the claim that “what we are facing in this country is persecution,” as he shared his concerns about the direction of government policies.
