Aggrieved NDC Members Lock Constituency Office Over Stephen Agyare Suspension

Some branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency have resolved to petition the party's elders over the suspension of constituency chairman Stephen Ofosu Agyare.

The aggrieved executives say the suspension was based on unfair grounds and could affect the party's cohesion and electoral prospects.

Meanwhile, some members opposed to the decision have locked the constituency office with fresh locks in an attempt to prevent the swearing-in of an acting chairman.

The development has heightened tensions within the constituency as party members seek resolution to the leadership dispute.
