The Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, says attacks targeting African nationals in South Africa are a major concern for the Commission.
He noted that the situation is not limited to Ghanaians, as citizens from several African countries have also been affected.
Mahamoud Ali Youssouf said the African Union is closely monitoring developments and is concerned about incidents that threaten the safety, dignity, and unity of Africans across the continent.
