The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has shut down 44 food manufacturing facilities, including sachet water producers and cold stores, in a nationwide enforcement exercise.
The Authority says the action targets businesses operating without the required licences and those failing to meet approved hygiene and safety standards.
The FDA says the exercise is part of efforts to protect public health, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and safeguard consumers across the country.
