Kuwait defence ministry says drone attack hits al-Abdali border crossing with Iraq

Kuwait's Ministry of Defence says a drone attack has hit al-Abdali border crossing with Iraq, causing material damage but no casualties. The crossing is the country's main land route for passenger and commercial traffic with Iraq, and the strike marks the second attack on the border area in about 24 hours. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has also claimed attacks on three military bases in Kuwait, saying it targeted drone and helicopter hangars as well as a telecommunications tower. Elsewhere, Bahrain sounded warning sirens and urged residents to seek shelter, while Jordan says it intercepted four missiles and six drones. The latest attacks point to a widening regional conflict, with both military facilities and key civilian infrastructure coming under fire.
