FDA Shuts Down Unlicensed Harmatan Natural Mineral Water Factory at Amasaman

The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has shut down Harmatan Natural Mineral Water, an unlicensed sachet water production facility at Amasaman-Amafrom in the Ga West Municipality.

According to the FDA, the facility was operating without the required licence and under unhygienic conditions, posing a potential risk to public health.

The enforcement action forms part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to ensure food safety, protect consumers, and crack down on unlicensed food and water production facilities across Ghana.
