NLA, Fidelity Bank Partner to Modernise Lottery Operations With POS Machines

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Fidelity Bank have signed an agreement for the provision of Point of Sale (POS) machines to modernise lottery operations and improve revenue generation for the state.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Director-General of the NLA, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, said the partnership forms part of ongoing reforms aimed at strengthening the lottery industry.
He explained that previous attempts to modernise the sector had not yielded the desired results, leading the Authority to adopt a private partnership model to provide modern POS machines for Lotto Marketing Companies across the country.
