Technical Universities Strike: TUSAAG Demands Payment of Outstanding Allowances

The Technical University Senior Administrators' Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) has accused government of failing to honour agreements that led to the resumption of its nationwide strike.
The industrial action resumed on Monday, July 20, after the union said government failed to pay a one-off research allowance and fully implement a negotiated interim allowance agreement.
Speaking to Channel One News, TUSAAG Chairman at the Accra Technical University, Dominic Ampah, said the strike will continue until government fulfils its commitments.
