MTN Ghana Urges Media to Clear Misconceptions About Fibre Internet

MTN Ghana has identified public misconceptions about fibre internet as a major barrier to digital inclusion, calling on the media to help educate Ghanaians on the benefits of fixed broadband connectivity.
Speaking at the company's Bright Conversations engagement with journalists in Accra, Chief Home Officer of MTN Ghana, Richard Acheampong, said many consumers still perceive fibre internet as expensive and struggle to differentiate it from mobile internet.
He explained that MTN's fibre rollout is focused on building the digital infrastructure needed to support Ghana's growing digital economy and improve connectivity for homes and businesses.
