Sen. Mark Warner ‘not surprised’ by reports Pentagon underplayed U.S. injuries

Senator Mark Warner, a Democrat from Virginia and vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, tells Morning Joe he's “not surprised” by reports that the Pentagon is obscuring U.S. troop injuries related to the ongoing conflict in Iran. This comes after the reported deaths of three U.S. service members in recent days. Warner tells Jonathan Lemire that, as the U.S. struggles to accomplish its goals in Iran, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine might be “partially hiding the ball.”
