Manchester reacts to Burnham's plan for 'No. 10 North' office
Andy Burnham has become the UK's seventh prime minister in a decade, pledging to rewire how Britain is governed by shifting power away from London to the regions. His proposed "No. 10 North" office in Manchester has become a symbol of that ambition, though the site is not expected to be ready until 2028. In the meantime, his team is reportedly seeking temporary office space in the city he previously led as mayor, credited with transforming it into the UK's fastest-growing city region.
