FIFA pledged to build 1,000 mini pitches for kids by 2031

As the World Cup frenzy ends, FIFA is continuing to honor its pledge to build 1,000 mini pitches for children around the world. The pledge was made by FIFA President Gianni Infantino in 2024 and so far 100 permanent mini pitches have been built. CGTN's Dan Williams spoke with FIFA Chief Member Associations Officer Elkhan Mammadov at a temporary mini pitch in New York City's Central Park.
