Full Presser: 'Chairman Wontumi is a political prisoner' - NPP's General Secretary | 20th July, 2026

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong has said that its Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi is a political prisoner.

He said this at a press conference in Accra on July 20 after Chairman Wontumi was jailed for 20 years over illegal mining offences.
