UK PM Burnham pledges 10-year plan, cost-of-living support #worldnow

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said his government would introduce a 10-year plan for the country later this year in his first speech outside 10 Downing Street on July 20. He also pledged immediate cost-of-living support, education reform, increased mental health support and additional council housing. Burnham said the measures would comply with Britain's fiscal rules and defense commitments.
