Todd Blanche spent five hours before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week seeking confirmation as the next U.S. attorney general where he accidentally called himself Trump's lawyer, prompting concerns from Democrats. Concerns about Blanche's nomination are also coming from the Republican side of the aisle as Senator John Cornyn appeared skeptical in the confirmation hearings.
