Prez Mahama Urges GFA to Keep Carlos Queiroz as Black Stars Coach

President John Dramani Mahama has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to retain Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz and his technical team.
Queiroz's four-month contract is set to expire on July 31, but reports indicate that he is close to agreeing a new two-year deal after guiding Ghana to the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The President believes continuity with the technical team could help strengthen the Black Stars' preparations and future performances on the international stage.
