Power Tennis Club Chairman Calls for More Investment in Tennis Development

Chairman of Power Tennis Club, Ing. Arhin Owusu Afriyie, is calling on government to invest in lesser-known sports such as tennis, especially in underprivileged communities, to help identify and nurture young talent.
Speaking in an interview with Citi News, he said increased investment in tennis infrastructure and youth development programmes would create opportunities for young athletes to excel and represent Ghana at the highest level.
He made the call during the commissioning of the newly renovated Power Tennis Club in Accra, refurbished by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
