Members of Parliament are raising concerns over the transportation of cargo containers on low-bed trailers without proper securing mechanisms.

Lawmakers warn that the practice poses serious safety risks, contributes to traffic congestion, damages roads, and has been linked to accidents resulting in injuries and loss of lives.

They are calling for stricter enforcement of road safety regulations to ensure cargo is transported safely on Ghana's highways.
