Clifford Braimah Files NPP Savannah Chairmanship Bid, Promises Party Revival

Former Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Dr. Ing. Clifford Braimah, has officially filed his nomination to contest the Savannah Regional Chairmanship of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Dr. Braimah submitted his nomination forms at the NPP Savannah Regional Office in Damongo, where he outlined his vision to unite the party and reposition it ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Addressing journalists after filing his nomination, he expressed concern over the party's declining electoral fortunes in the Savannah Region, noting that the NPP's parliamentary representation has dropped from three seats to one out of the region's seven constituencies.

He attributed the setback partly to divisions among constituency executives and called for renewed unity to help rebuild the party ahead of the next election.
