The 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Secretariat has dismissed claims that the programme is being financed from the government's GH¢650 billion budget.
The Secretariat says the initiative is driven primarily by private sector investment, following concerns raised by the Ranking Member of Parliament's Economy and Development Committee, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, over the programme's funding and outcomes.
The clarification comes amid ongoing discussions about the implementation, financing structure and expected impact of the government's flagship 24-Hour Economy programme.
