Sports Minister Kofi Adams says government's intention is to modernise the Ho Sports Stadium to enable it host CAF-certified events and other major sporting activities.
He made the remarks during a citizens' engagement as part of President John Dramani Mahama's #ResettingGhana Tour of the Volta Region.
The Minister said the upgrade forms part of government's broader plan to improve sports infrastructure, create better opportunities for athletes, and position regional facilities to meet international standards.
